其他TUL Corporation Opens New Factory in Xizhi for Sustainable Development of Smart Manufacturing

December 9, 2022 – Professional graphics card manufacturer TUL Corporation (TWSE:6150) purchased a new factory in Baochang, Xizhi in 2021 echoing its operational development. The opening ceremony of the new factory was held today to meet the local production needs of high-end graphics cards and diversified customized products. Moving forward, TUL will continue to cooperate with National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) to develop software and hardware integration technology to build smart manufacturing factories, and work with supply chain partners to carry out net-zero carbon emission research and development technologies such as environmentally friendly stripping and recycling of electronic wastes and precious metals. With the industry-academia cooperation, TUL aims to develop towards the promotion of circular economy, sustainable consumption and production as well as other sustainable goals.

For many years, TUL has been closely cooperating with NTUST and has successively developed block chain security mechanism, Internet of Things information security, smart manufacturing, image processing and other technology through industry-academia cooperation projects. Earlier this year, TUL collaborates with NTUST’s Industry-Academia Innovation College and establishes TUL-NTUST Joint R&D Center.

“After the opening of the new Baochang factory, the industry-academia cooperation project with NTUST can be further implemented and deployed in the actual production line application field, and gradually expand towards smart manufacturing to develop and optimize related technologies. In the future, TUL will continue to deepen the fields of artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing and energy sustainability,” said Ted Chen, CEO of TUL.

“TUL aims to promote circular economy, sustainable consumption and production (the 12th goal of SDGs) as the company moves towards the goal of ESG. TUL also endeavors to train more electronic technology talents through industry-academia cooperation with NTUST,” Chen added.
