其他AROFLY and TUL Corporation Expand Sponsorship and Invest in National High School Cycling Talent Nurturing Program

AROFLY, professional manufacturer of bicycle power meter, and TUL Corporation, computer equipment manufacturer, jointly launched the “Flying Seed Nurturing Project” in 2021. The project sponsors Taichung Dajia Junior High School Cycling Team recently achieved good results in the venue competitions at 2022 National Middle School Athletic Games. To help train Taiwan grassroots cycling athletes, AROFLY and TUL will expand the project scope and provide the latest sports science knowledge as well as training programs to the potential cycling groups of Dajia Junior High School and Linyuan Senior High School. With scientific equipment such as bicycle power meters and training platform developed by Taiwan manufacturers to improve cycling skills, the project aims to support Taiwan cyclists to achieve good results in international competitions.
 

Dajia Junior High School Cycling Team is a constant winner in national competitions. After training with the AROFLY ELITE A1 power meter sponsored by the "Flying Seed Nurturing Project" in 2021, Dajia Junior High School has achieved good results in the 2022 National Middle School Athletic Games venue competitions and won 1 Gold, 4 Silver and 3 Bronze medals. The team also came 6th in the National Cycling Middle School Road Championship.

We also invited Linyuan Senior High School to join the ‘Flying Seed Nurturing Project’, and will sponsor 20 new power meters (AROFLY i-Mode) and 3 sets of smart training platform (AROFLY i-Pro).”
 

“Digitalization of sports performance is the result of recent active development of AI technology. Due to the huge time and cost invested in the research and development process, the related bicycle professional training equipment in the market becomes expensive and unaffordable for public schools. Most coaching methods also lack scientific analysis and statistics,” added Wu Pin-sheng. “Take Dajia Junior High School Cycling Team as an example, Li Wei-cheng, team coach and former national cyclist, could only train students’ physical fitness by running due to limited resources when the team established. Only until close to the competition, they borrowed equipment from other schools to complete the contest. Now, by using AROFLY power meter for training, they can more accurately monitor cyclists’ riding intensity, detect the real-time pedaling power, and design a tailor-made training program for each athlete, bringing the research and development achievements of the technology industry to the grassroots level training.

“The purpose of this training project is to familiarize these athletes of the Internet native generation with scientific training equipment, thus achieving multiplier effect,” said Charles Chou, Executive Assistant to CEO of TUL. “In the future, TUL will continue to invest in corporate social responsibility (CSR).
