To nurture grassroots cycling sports talents, AROFLY, professional manufacturer of bicycle power meter, and TUL Corporation jointly sponsored the bicycle power meters for coaches and athletes of Dajia Junior High School Cycling Team. "Send Love to Dajia Charitable Project" Charity Cycle Team organized by Taipei City Cycling Association rode south from Taipei in the early morning on January 16 and arrived in the evening, delivering bicycle equipment jointly raised and sponsored by AROFLY, TUL and other enterprises to Taichung Dajia Junior High School Cycling Team. With scientific data and monitoring, athletes can improve their training efficiency and effectiveness.
AROFLY and TUL provided a whole set of bicycle stopwatch, power meter and heartbeat belt for Dajia Junior High School.
Cycling for 165 kilometers in total, the Charity Cycle Team was led by JLBK Team. Joined by AROFLY Team and Hsinchu Cycling Team, the team departed from Bihu Elementary School in Neihu District, Taipei at 6:00 in the morning. Former President Ma Ying-jeou also joined the team from Hsinchu, and delivered all the fund-raising equipment to Dajia Junior High School at 5 pm. Former President Ma also presented awards to the sponsors, thanking the companies for their love and dedication.
The charity event was initiated by Taipei City Cycling Association, sending bicycle equipment to Dajia Junior High School Cycling Team.
The organizer stated that Taichung Dajia Junior High School is the cradle of Taiwan outstanding cyclists. Despite having less equipment and training gear than the city school teams, the team has nurtured and initiated many young winners at the national competitions over the years.
