Dedicating to the graphics computing industry, TUL Corporation is actively engaged in the technological education in recent years. In order to encourage college and high school vocational students to engage in the creative and design of AI and IoT applications, TUL cooperates with the internationally renowned FPGA supplier Xilinx, together with the International Industry-University Alliance and Department of Electrical Engineering of National Taiwan Normal University to jointly organize the "Xilinx PYNQ AI/IOT Hackathon". The scope of creativity and application encompasses applications across IoT and AI, such as smart homes, smart cities, smart manufacturing, smart surveillance, game design, etc.
The purpose of this event is to promote the importance of Xilinx PYNQ AI/IOT application and cultivate innovation ability. The target is not limited to specific departments, attracting 135 participants from about 30 teams including National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, National Taiwan Normal University, Chang Gung University, Ming Chuan University, National Formosa University, Songshan High School of Agriculture and Industry, Lishan Senior High School, Yu Cheng Senior High School and Nanhu Senior High School. In addition to receiving bonuses and award certificate, the winning team also has the opportunity to participate in the international design competition organized by Xilinx.
